RC Pro Announcements Email RepliesWed Mar 5, 2008 1:37PMRecently I have been finding out some people are not getting my replies to emails. It seems some are going into spam folders. A lot of this has to do with the individuals settings for spam. I ask everyone to please check you spam folders if you did not get a reply from one of us using the rcprosites emails. Part of this could be our email system is handled through Google Gmail and your isp may determine our isp has sent spam. I know I don't but with Gmail a lot of people use the same isp which could cause that situation. Also please check your membership info and be sure we have an up to date email for you I have found several that come back as not deliverable at times. RC Pro NewsThu Feb 28, 2008 7:15AM
As of February 27th, 2008 Jeff Vargas has left the Marketing Director position with RC Pro. We at RC Pro would like to thank Mr. Vargas for his commitment and determination in his tenior as Marketing Director. We want to thank him for his efforts in various promotional events most notably the Homestead Indy Car event, Nitro Beach event and working with Kyosho and SS Speedway on the GT event last December. Racer banned. I have failed numerous times to contact this racer to inform him of this banning personally. So because of this I will relate the circumstances but not print his name. I'm sure a number of racers who were at the event will relay the message if he does not see it. This includes ALL RC Pro events – State Series, Division events and National Finals. The tracks hosting events in his State and Division have been informed to send his entry back if they receive one. This will stand for a minimum of one year and could be extended indefinitely if he shows up at an event and tries to cause problems. The event discussed below is the 2007 National Finals in Alvarado Texas. The racer felt the need to do donuts in the gravel parking lot after the races on Saturday night. He threw rocks at numerous vehicles parked in the are. One of the owners called the police about it. The police arrived shortly after and the racer decided to run from them. This included driving inside the building and getting out of his vehicle and running out onto the track to get away from the police. The result was they escorted him off the property and was told not to come back. Amazingly he came back after the police left. My wife took care of this and eventually got him to leave. I wasn't told about the incident until after the event was over. It's bad enough the police had to be called but to come back and trespass is just unbelievable. I feel if you have the police called on you then you don't need to be at our events. The most recent repair was on the membership page which wasn't diplaying info. It looks better now but it's not quite right yet I will continue to tweak it but atleast now it works.

Once we change over to the new design on the RC Pro main site, Electric Offroad, Dirt Oval and Nitro Onroad sites the RSS feed will be there as well. As with any new sites there may be changes as we go but we have been testing and working on them since the new web design was installed on the NItro Offroad site. We should be changing over to the new web design for all the RC Pro sites soon.
