Last Day for EntriesWed Nov 1, 2006 9:49AMNitro Offroad Finals Today is the last day for entries.You have until midnight tonight (pacific time) to get your entries in! If your thinking your going to make the trip and just enter at the event ……… that won’t happen! If your thinking “I know Carlton he’ll let me in ……….. NO I WON’T! Tomorrow I will post the schedule and that will be it. Once I post the schedule and everyone plans for what’s on it we can’t change it. Why is a schedule such a big deal? This event is not our normal offroad event, we have certain time frames to work with at the arena. We have the opening and closing times that I have to make the arena aware of so they can arrange their concessions, security and other workers hours. The other thing I have to work with is the optimum spectator times and placing our mains in the right time slots. NO ENTRIES TAKEN AFTER MIDNIGHT TONIGHT!
More Offroad Finals InfoMon Oct 30, 2006 10:20AMMidnight on wednesday is the cutoff for entries there will be no entries taken at the event! Mike Lyday and Patrick Rossiter your entries came in today.
This is for the racers that will be bringing motorhomes or pit trailers. I have contacted a septic service in Rockford that can come out and pump out your holding tanks when needed. They require atleast 5 needing to be pumped to make the trip. I figure friday the 10th would be a good day to have it done but you will have to work out a schedule and let me know. The cost is $25 per vehicle paid cash to the driver. View comment [ 1 ]

This is complete except for the addition of the sponsor tag for Losi that the station will add to the end. Entry List for KissimmeeTue Oct 24, 2006 10:42AMHere's the current entry list for the US Open Fuel Sedan Championships at Kissimmee next week. Seems to be quite a few big names on this list. If your in the Kissimmee area next weekend this would be a race to see! Rafael Angulo Junito Yukiyu Looking at some of the names on this list this is going to be a great race! Especially with the big fast layout they have. Also for those of you into golf the golf course is right next door and seems I heard something about possible special rates for the racers......... Offroad Finals info version .... who knows. LOLTue Oct 24, 2006 2:26AM9 more days until the entry deadline for the finals. I hate to keep repeating myself but entries must be in by November 1st! You CANNOT enter at the event. I will post practice heats on November 2nd with T times. ALL practice will be controlled! We currently have: 71 Expert 1/8 List of entries per class HERE. I have until friday to get the count on people attending the Brunch/Awards banquet on the 12th. If you have emailed me thank you if you haven't and intend on going you better email me before friday. Otherwise you may not get to eat. I have to tell the facility how many people they will be serving and at $21 a plate I'm not going to just pick a number out of the air. We will have driver and pit pass ID's at the Metro Centre. So when you get there you will check in and recieve your packet with rules, ID's and other info. We will have someone stationed inside the main entrance with these so check in 1st then you will know where to unload. Pit trailers and RV's. A number of people have already emailed me to let me know they will be bringing one or the other. If you haven't please email me to let me know so I can have some sort of parking arrangement laid out so we can get everyone in the parking lot. There is NO electrical hookups in the parking lot. I'll double check but I believe there are a few hookups in the park a couple blocks away. I will call one of the porta can companies tomorrow about a pump service during the week if any will be interested. Pit tables and chairs. These will be provided for those pitting inside the building. Electrical will be ran to all the tables but you will probably need a short cord and power strip. Announcing/PA. We will have two PA systems running. The main arena Pa will have Scotty Ernst announcing the races to spectators. The other will be for race control to announce info to the racers in the pit area, drivers stand, and hot pit. This system will be a combination of speakers on the stand and in the hot pit area. To hear announcements in the main pit area and outside you will need an FM radio. We will have an FM system for the race director to use. Tech. Tuesday and Wednesday (practice days) you WILL need to have your vehicles pre-teched and marked. If you will be one of the few racers showing up on thursday or friday morning you will need to have your vehicle pre-teched before you race. Trade Show. Your racer ID/ pit pass will allow you to visit the trade show during the weekend and will get you in the building if you leave. Hang on to them because without them you cannot get in without buying a ticket and you WILL NOT get in the pits without one.
