RC Pro Announcements
Membership
Sat Dec 2, 2006 12:00PM
Starting with this Winter Electric Series we do require anyone racing in an RC Pro Divisional or National event to be a member. This does not affect the State Series events. We started selling memberships in July but some people have not seen the info about this. I hated to have to do this but it's come to a point where we have to do this to pay for the insurance. We have a number of companies set up to offer discounts to the members on parts and magazine subscriptions in an effort to make the membership worth more to the racers. We will be adding new companies to the list in the near future. A single event membership is available for $5. You can only do 2 single event memberships before you will need to be a full member and you must be a full member to run at a National Finals..
I will also be putting money from the full memberships into a points fund for each series. This points fund will be divided between classes based on turnout in that class during the year. The number of racers in each series will determine the amount that is in the fund for that series as well as how many racers were in each class will determine the amount paid out for each class. The points fund will pay out based on national points much like NASCAR.
I screwed up and failed to put this on the Winter Electric flyers. I quess because I don't like having to do a membership. I will have to make that change on the flyers.
Membership Glitch
Thu Nov 30, 2006 2:33AM
I found out about a glitch in the membership form to paypal link today that seems to have started after some changes made earlier this month. A couple people appear to have not been able to complete their membership. I also found a couple that had completed that the system didn't mark as verified and that is corrected now.
Those listed below apparently weren't forwarded to paypal after they made out their info. Please try it again and let me know if the problem has been taken care of.
Matt Akkola
Tony Angeles
Jason Bretzke
Justin Coral
Osmon Garmon
Daniel Ross
All of these were done on November 11th.
thanks

Schedules
Wed Nov 29, 2006 4:31PM
We are working on the schedules for all 2007 series now so please be patient. This year I'm adding some new divisions in the nitro offroad so it's taking a little longer. Also since several of the ROAR Nats are scheduled on our normal finals dates I'm having problems working around them specificly the Electric Offroad Nats was dropped on the date we used last year for our Electric Offroad Finals and the Sedan Nats was dropped on our Nitro Offroad Finals date we've used for the last 4 years.
Pictures
Tue Nov 28, 2006 5:02PM
I know there were a lot of people taking pics at the Dirt Oval, Nitro Offroad and Onroad Finals this year. As usual I never seem to have time to do that at the races and you really probably don't want to see my attempts anyway. If anyone has pics of these events and would be willing to send them to me I will put them on the site with credit to the photographer. Please do not send pics if you did not take them.
thanks

Rumors Version 2
Tue Nov 28, 2006 4:48PM
It's that time of year again when the racing stops while the weather get's colder (in some areas) and a racers thoughts turn to other things.............. LIKE MESSAGE BOARDS! LOL
I just received an email and it appears some people either have way to much time on their hands ooor someone thinks they heard something they didn't. I'm not sure how this happens but once again when you hear or read some outragious rumor about RC Pro I would suggest looking at this website. 99% of the time if something big is happening you'll read it here 1st. Now occasionally I will drop little bits of something here to build up to a major announcement but rarely will I make a decision and not put it here (read that as never). This is my forum I rarely visit message boards because I don't have time to keep up with them anymore so I post here when I have thoughts about stuff. I'm sure most of you have read some of this from time to time. LOL
So for those who a freaking out from the latest rumor............... we ARE NOT!!!!!!!!! dropping Monster Truck!
While I'm at it RC Pro is not folding up shop so you can stop that rumor as well! Yes I jumped out there and took a chance to do something a lot of people TALKED about doing and I lost money doing it. I'll work through it and recover that's what a business does. Many of you know me personally and know how stubborn I am when I'm set on doing something. You also know how much RC Pro means to me! So there are a lot of people who know RC Pro isn't going away anytime soon.
Back to our normally scheduled holidays!
Problems
Tue Nov 28, 2006 10:36AM
I'm sure I have a lot of people that have emailed me sinc ethe Offroad finals and wondering why I haven't responded. I had a major computer failure (laptop) and I'm having that worked on and may have to replace it. I haven't been able to access my rcproseries@gmail.com account from my office computer yet ..... still trying though. This also means I don't have my email data base to be able to contact some people I need to at this time.
For now the best one to use is the rcprosales@gmail.com which is setup on the office computer. Sorry for the problems or missed emails.
