RC Pro Announcements New Caribbean DivisionFri Dec 15, 2006 8:35PMRC Pro is proud to announce the new Caribbean Division. Mr. Rafael Sabatier will be the Caribbean Director in charge of scheduling events and working with the existing organizations to promote rc racing in the Caribbean. This new division will be like all divisions in the Nitro Offroad series and will receive invitations to compete in the National Finals. Also in 2007 racers will be able to score points in any out of division race. These points will not count toward a division championship you must score division points in your division. If the points you score at an out of division race are better than one of your division races it can be substituted and used toward the national points total. Can we say vacation and racing in the Caribbean? ANNOUNCEMENT!!Mon Dec 11, 2006 12:25PMRC Pro is adding new Nitro Offroad Divisions for 2007. We are splitting the Western Division and making a Northwest Division. We are also splitting the Southern Division and adding the North ( I know not real inventive. I'm working on a new name). We also are adding a Caribbean Division which will be centered around Puerto Rico. I'll be posting our schedule today although it's not totally complete yet I still have to complete the NW and a couple races in other divisons. Sorry for the delay but it takes time dealing with this many tracks and trying to work around so many races. I'm sure Someone will email me and let me know I put something to close to their race. EVENT ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!!!!!!Fri Dec 8, 2006 4:48PMI received confirmation today of an event that has been in the planning stage for a while. We have a verbal from Homestead Speedway & International Speedway Corporation for what we feel will be a major event for Nitro Onroad. Onroad guys get your cars ready! RC Pro and Homestead Miami RC Club in conjunction with Homestead-Miami Speedway will be hosting The "Homestead-Miami International Nitro Challenge". This event will be at Homestead Speedway on March 24th & 25th DURING the Indy Car event! This IS a points race but anyone can score points at this event even the International drivers and it will count toward the National Championship! The track will be setup on the midway and will be designed by Art Carbonell. Manufacturer display booths will be available and pitting will be under the grandstand.
