LOOKING FOR
Fri Feb 16, 2007 4:15PM
I'm working on a way to streamline our membership system. We currently have the plastic cards printed as people join. The printer prints the members name, membership number and expiration date on each card. This causes a slow down waiting on them to get here. I'm looking for a desk top plastic card embosser so I can have bulk card printed and when someone joins I can emboss the card with member name, expiration date and membership number here at the office and cut the wait time down drasticly. So if anyone knows where to get one of these please let me know. BTW I already looked on ebay and the 2 I found were from China. I would prefer to not have to order something from outside the country.
thanks
Carlton
Also I am now posting a mailing list for membership cards. When I mail out cards I will post the list of the ones that went out and what date so everyone will know when to expect their cards or can let me know if they didn't get there since we have had a number of tem come up missing.

Permanent Number Info
Thu Feb 8, 2007 1:40PM
RC Pro uses a permanent number system where each racer has the chance to choose his or her favorite number. This is done to make rc racing more like full scale racing.
Wayne has had internet problems the last few weeks and hopefully it is fixed now. He is behind but feels he should be caught up late tonight. He is having problems with some number submissions though. This is from lack of the proper information so please include all info especially your NAME! Also he needs CLASS OR CLASSES, WHAT SERIES (electric nitro offroad etc.) and ATLEAST 3 CHOICES on numbers incase your 1st choice is already taken. Please click on the permanent number link in the menu of any of our series for all the information.
IF you don't have a number registered before an event you can still sign up and get a temporary number at the event. We will ask you for your number requests at the event so we can get you a permanent number after that event.
thanks
Carlton
LOW EARLY ENTRIES
Wed Feb 7, 2007 6:36PM
We are just getting into the majority of the electric offroad schedule starting this weekend. I don't like making format changes after things have been advertised but at the remaining events in the Electric Series if early entries are not at a reasonable number 30 or more we will adjust the schedule to run all of the classes on either saturday or sunday. This will give the tracks a chance to still be able run some of their normal club events that would normally not be run because of the RC Pro format.
So now it's up to the electric racers. If your going to an event get your entries in or work out something with the track so they know what to expect for attendance. Since before I took over RC Pro I've had questions of when is RC Pro going to do electric and help build it back up? Last year was the 1st year for it and it was good in some areas and very poor in others. This year it's time for the racers to step up and show they want to bring electric back. Whether 2008 has another electric series or not depends on the racer attendance this year.
