RC Pro Membership Email Accounts

To All RC Pro Members

We have finally come up with a way to do the personal email accounts
for our RC Pro Members through our website. The problem we ran into
was enough server space to handle almost 1,000 email accounts
currently and have room for future accounts. We have a deal setup
through GMail  for this now. Your email account will be your username
on your membership (example - username@rcprosites.com) your password
for your membership account will be your password for your email
account. You can change this as you setup your email account if you
wish. Your password must be at least 6 characters. Below is the link
to the accounts list that is uploaded so far and instructions on setting up your personal
account. We have about 1/2 of the members uploaded already but some
have less than 6 characters in the password so we will need to correct
those before we can upload their info.

Dirt Country Members

I have a very long list of racer who signed up for a full membership at Dirt Country. Each of which needs to be entered in the website but the problem is I don't have the majority of your email addresses plus I will have to make up usernames and passwords for you. This would happen much faster if the guys that did sign up for full membership at that race would fill out the membership form for me so I have your email and you make up your own username...... most of you know me and really do you want ME to make up that name for you? LOL Once you fill out the info go to step 2 and then close out the page all your info will be stored in the site and I can then activate your membership internally in the site and email you your membership confirmation and number.

I should have thought about this at the track but until I set here and entered the members who joined at Real RC I didn't think about having to make all that up.

Those racers that joined at Real RC I have you entered but don't have emails for you and of course I had to make up usernames for you (sorry about that) LOL. Your membership numbers are listed on the membership list in the menu. If you want to know your username and password so you can log into the site then email me and I will send it to you.

Okay the popups are gone now. It was a cool idea but got annoying real quick. Also I have now added a members list to the menu for those who may need to know their membership number and not have their card handy. This will also work as a place for the companies offering discounts to the members to verify someone is a member.

I just want everyone to know I'm taking the next couple days off to get over this bronchitis that has developed the last 2 race weekends. I have a lot of emails and phone calls I'm behind on since last thursday and I will get to them as soon as possible. Mary has a stack of membership cards she is working on sending out when she isn't at her job. Results from Clarkston are on the website I have some pics to upload as soon as I feel better.

Nitro Beach Entry and Resort Rate Info

The Nitro Beach Challenge will be held in Isabella Puerto Rico on a special built track at the Mar Hau Resort. We have special rates setup with the resort and the rooms are first come first served so make your reservations NOW because it WILL fill up! This track will be overlooking their private beach and be within a short walk to your rooms. This will be THE RC VACATION!

Dirt Country Broadcast

We have an internet connection at Dirt Country so we are attempting to broadcast the mains listen in and see what's happening.

RC Pro Series now has it's own internet radio station. We will be broadcasting our 1st event this weekend from Homestead Miami International Fuel Challenge.

Midwest Nitro offroad Round 1 Heats

We have the heats setup for the race at Dirt Country. If you see a transponder number or frequency wrong don't email me because I leave in the morning to go to this event and won't get the emails. See me tomorrow night at the track or friday and we will make corrections. If you didn't send a transponder number with your entry and I had a number in the race computer for you in that class then that is the one I used.

New Website Stuff

I'm sure most of you have noticed the addition of Snap Shots to the website. As you pass over a weblink or an internal website link it will pop up a preview of that page. This is useful to see what the website looks like before you go there. I'm sure at some time some of you will find it irritating so there is an option on the pop up to turn it off if you don't like it.

Okay I've made some adjustments to the snap shots. Now there is an icon beside the link so if you want to see the pop up you can roll your cursor over the icon. The pop up won't happen if you roll your cursor over the link now. I'm working on rewriting the script to make that work on the sponsor logos too.

We also have a new look coming soon...............
